For those of you who like a bit of a read, I've written an article about Mel Britt which is published in the latest edition of 'Soulfulkindamusic' published by Dave Rimmer--I'll be putting it on the site in the next few months but if you wan't to read it now visit www.soulfulkindamusic.org to order a copy.

Thanks to Sean Chapman for the complimentary write up he gave me in this months

Manifesto Magazine. I DJ'd on the same line up as Sean in Norwich recently and to receive positive comments for my two sets was much appreciated.

On the DJ'ing front I've been invited to join the resident line up at Stompers a Shufflers Northern Nights in Halstead, Essex--music policy is no nonsense across the board and I'll be posting up the dates and more details soon. There are also a few things in the pipeline across the Eastern region and rest assured I'll be posting details here when they are

finalised

On the club front I went to the first of the 6T's allnighters held at Jacks in London this month, Jacks is the alternative venue for the 100 club nighters. Musically it was great, the venue is best described as interesting! Make sure you eat plenty of carrots before

visiting or take a torch and as for the toilets, lets just say they are different! Lots of bag searches on the way in and so if you are in the habit of taking your own bottles of drink be warned you'll run the risk of losing them. All in all a great night and full credit to Ady Croasdell for keeping things going to cover the times the 100 club is unavailable

As for this site I'll be updating the sounds page soon so keep popping back!

Wherever you are have a great time and keep supporting your local Soul nights--

the lifeblood of the scene!

Take care Y'all!
